Shipping policy

At SAS SunBase, every order is carefully prepared to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable shopping experience — from payment to delivery.
This policy outlines our order preparation, shipping, and delivery conditions, as well as the rights and obligations of our customers.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to:

  • Mainland France, including Corsica and Monaco;

  • Most European Union countries;

  • Other destinations may be reviewed upon request at contact@sunbase.eu.

Deliveries outside these areas may be subject to additional charges, customs duties, or specific delivery times.

2. Processing and Delivery Times

Our products are shipped from France or from our approved European logistics partners.

  • Average order preparation time: 2 to 4 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Average delivery time: 3 to 7 business days, depending on destination and transport method.

  • Bulky items (e.g., SunBase Freedom Pack) require pallet transport and an appointment scheduled before delivery.

In the case of pre-orders, the estimated shipping date is specified on the product page.

3. Carriers and Tracking

We work exclusively with reliable carriers such as Chronopost, DPD, DHL, UPS, DB Schenker, GLS, or other specialized transport partners.
Each customer receives a confirmation email with a tracking number once the order has been dispatched.
Although SAS SunBase cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to carriers, we maintain proactive tracking and customer support until final delivery.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are automatically calculated during checkout based on:

  • product weight and volume,

  • destination,

  • and the selected delivery method.

Free shipping is offered on all orders over €1000 (incl. VAT) within mainland France and European Union countries served by our logistics network.

For orders below this amount, applicable shipping fees are clearly displayed before payment.
Customs duties and import taxes for non-EU destinations remain the responsibility of the customer.

5. Receipt and Inspection

Upon delivery, the customer must inspect the external condition of the package.
In case of any irregularity:

  1. Note specific written comments on the delivery slip,

  2. Keep all original packaging and items intact,

  3. Report the issue to contact@sunbase.eu within 48 hours (including supporting photos).

After this period, delivery will be considered accepted and compliant.

6. Delivery Address and Absence

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided.
If a parcel is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, or repeated absence of the recipient, reshipment may be arranged at the customer’s expense.

7. Delays, Loss, and Force Majeure

Unforeseen events beyond our control — such as weather conditions, strikes, blockages, or customs delays — may occasionally occur.
These are considered force majeure events under Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
No compensation may be claimed in such cases, but SunBase undertakes to keep the customer informed and to provide full assistance until the issue is resolved.

8. Liability

SAS SunBase shall not be held liable for:

  • delays caused by the carrier or customs authorities,

  • incorrect information provided by the customer,

  • or indirect damages (loss of use, installation costs, etc.).

Our total liability is strictly limited to the amount of the order concerned.
